JAPAN ROCK JAM 2016 presented by Studio KAREN is bringing 3 amazing Japanese musicians to Hong Kong! Guitarist Kyoji, bass guitarist michiaki and drummer Eiji!

Japanese legendary guitarist Kyoji Yamamoto will come to Hong Kong again since his band BOWWOW performed in 1982. BOWWOW is a Japanese hard rock band formed in 1976. Introducing some of their astonishing career, they performed at Monterey Festival (Swiss), also Reading Festival (UK), which they were the first japanese band to participate.

michiaki is best known as a member of Ra:IN which was formed by himself with the X Japan guitarist Pata, in 2002. Ra:IN has toured world wide. Europe, Russia, U.S.A., China, Taiwan… in 2012 they performed in Hong Kong. In 1994, michiaki participated in the recording of Hide’s debut single “Eyes Love You”

Eiji is the drummer of Wild Flag, also formed by Kyoji. He was also a member of SADS formed by 黒夢’s清春.

These three musicians, Kyoji, michiaki and Eiji are a trio that continuously perform “Free style Jam”, a style that the musicians play and improvise on stage, real time(!) as their impressions flow throughout the performance. In a word, it’s improvisation rock music. Each jamming session brings you a high-quality extemporization, which is, a free minded one and only original rock music live, played by great skill, guided by instant inspiration!
